As far as Chiropractors go, I used to see Dr. James Devine downtown. He was quite good. I saw him for about 6 months 6 years ago, and have only had one flare-up of back pain since then.

Female doc: Louise Berkowicz in Bellevue is thorough, funny, holistically oriented, and has a cool accent(she's from South Africa).

Chiropractor: Steve Olynyk is gentle but effective; in Renton.

Regarding a chiropractor, I have had serious back problems for the past five years.  I have been to chiropractors, physical therapists, and a sports medicine doctor, all with no long-term results.  

Last year I went to Dr. Ladd Carlston, D.C. at Total Body Wellness.  He is great -- try him at 425.557.5975.  He is in Issaquah across the street from Home Depot.  Best thing I have done for my back!!!

I have recommended him to others and they all call back and say what a positive difference he has made for them.

The only chiropractor I would see is Dr. Devine at Tuttle and Devine Chiropractic in downtown Seattle.  Dr. Devine is the best!

Wallingford Family Practice has become Polyclinic and have combined their Wallingford and Greenlake offices in their new Northgate offices. They have both male and female doctors. I was there tonight, and I'm always surprised by how caring and patient my doctor is. I highly recommend them.

I like Kristin Wright is in Capitol Hill.  She is great.  She incorporates Eastern philosophy with her adjustments.  She is great.  
Takes her time, down to earth and easy to talk to.

Chiropractor - Tuttle and Devine (on 2nd and Seneca) is where I go and I'm liking them a lot.

Women's doc - if you're not against the idea of using a nurse practitioner instead, give Northwest Women's Health Care a call.  They have three nurse practitioners who are easier to get appointments with than the docs are.  I go to Shelley Miksis and she's fantastic.
